The dogs arrived in Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon and were put into new, cozy kennels right away.

“We’re looking for the community’s support through monetary donations as we anticipate the dogs to have many expensive medical conditions that our Shelter Medicine Team will need to diagnose and treat,” Atlanta Humane Society said. “Our Behavior Team is also preparing to help provide these dogs with the individualized behavior care that we provide to each animal who comes into our care.”
